How Preach is funded
Preach is free for every pastor. Partners fund one part of the mission each, and every month this page reports what each part cost and how much of it their gifts carried. Every line starts from zero on the 1st, so a steady gift is what keeps Preach free next month too.
September 2026
Every gift stayed on the line it was given to this month.
Of the usage line, free pastors used $154.29; members' own Partner-model work used $0.00 and Astra runs $2.43.
Cost metering was not yet running for 24 of the month's days, so $139.26 of the usage line is an estimate: 456 completed generations priced at a set rate per kind, from the strategy's low-end figures. Every other figure on this page is measured.
The tiers

How this page is computed: each month closes on the 1st once every day's AI cost has been rolled up. Usage is the month's model cost at OpenAI's prices. Infrastructure, marketing, and development are the budgets set for the month. Designated is members times net price, with annual members counted at a twelfth; the store keeps 15% under Apple's Small Business Program and everything here is net. When a line's gifts run past its cost, the rest goes on to the next line that is short, in the order shown, and the move is written out above. Every line starts from zero on the 1st.
Designated, not restricted: Preach is not a registered non-profit, so a gift to a line is a commitment the app honours and reports here every month, not a legally restricted fund.
